Roy Rea, President and Chief Executive Officer of Netcom Technologies, Inc., has over 27 years of business leadership experience and expertise in the telecommunications industry. An accomplished corporate marketer and strategist, his vision and performance have driven notable enterprise growth in the cabling, telephony, and security sectors.
Mr. Rea’s exceptional track record of business performance is evidenced by the significant impact he has had on business growth throughout his career. Prior to establishing his own companies, he gained experience in several aspects of the industry, ranging from project management, operations, engineering, and finance with major corporations.
Offering an extraordinary blend of creative and operational strengths, Mr. Rea began creating a personal impact in the structured cabling business when he founded Communications Services, Inc, near
Mr. Rea founded Netcom Technologies, Inc. in 1989 and continued to focus on performance excellence. His ardency for the industry is highlighted in his membership with the Industry Advisory Council, as well as, through Netcom Technology’s BICSI Platinum Partner Status.
Presently a BICSI certified Registered Communication Distribution Designer and a licensed Master Electrician; he plays a pro-active role in advocating that all Netcom Technology Inc.’s executives obtain the appropriate design and engineering certifications. The consummate CEO, Mr. Rea reviews every significant proposal that originates from Netcom Technologies, Inc.
Altruistic concern for human welfare plays a substantial role in Mr. Rea’s life. He exhibits and encourages philanthropy by supporting organizations such as the Fannie Mae Foundation and the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Mike Lindquist, Vice President Mike Lindquist, Vice President of Netcom, joined the company in 2004. Mr. Lindquist leads the sales department and is responsible for strategic account management. He has more than 21 years experience in the telecommunications sector in various positions including Technician, Project Manager, Account Manager, Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales. Mr. Lindquist is certified on numerous structured cable manufacturer products.Prior to joining Netcom, Mr. Lindquist was Vice President of Sales for Business Communications Contractors (BCC). He grew that business from $1M in 1988 to $27M in 2003. Mr. Lindquist sold his percentage ownership of the company to Black Box Corporation in 2000.
Mr. Lindquist was responsible for the $32M structured cable sale to WinStar Corporation. Fifty (50) sites with a 100,000 sq. ft average each were cabled on-time and on-budget. At Mitre Corporation, he was awarded a $9M contract to cable three 250,000 sq. ft. buildings with approximately 3,500 outlets each. All outlets included a four-port Cat 6 and two–port fiber jack. Mr. Lindquist was responsible for Dynalectric choosing Netcom for the Defense Intelligence Agency headquarters building. This $5.3M project utilized a Corning fiber and Berk-Tek/Ortronics Cat 6 copper solution.
Mr. Lindquist is a member of the International Facility Manager Association (IFMA) where he has chaired several committees and the Industry Advisory Council (IAC). He was Co-Chair of the Steve Buckhantz St. Jude Children’s Golf Classic from 1997- 2001. The tournament raised more than $1M for the hospital during his tenure as Co-Chairman. Mike has been married for ten years and is the father of one child who is four years old.
Tom Cuneo, Senior Vice President, Business Development
Tom Cuneo joined Netcom Technologies, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Business Development in 2007. In his current position, he is breaking new ground in the areas of business development to mentor and expand the company’s sales organization, in an effort to generate new sales opportunities.
Offering a combination of business strengths and industry knowledge, he has successfully led the development of several companies. During his 34 years of career experience, Mr. Cuneo has held both Founder and Senior Executive positions with numerous companies, including; C3, Inc. (presently Telos), Federal Technology Corp. (presently MicroDyne), and Government Telecommunications, Inc.
Distinguishing himself through excellence in marketing functions and telecommunications, he has been awarded several recent noteworthy contracts.
He obtained the $43 million United States Postal Service Mail Processing Infrastructure Contract for structured cabling. The United States Department of Agriculture Telephony Support awarded
Mr. Cuneo’s extensive history of proven business performance has also allowed him to receive contracts with GSA CONNECTIONS GWAC, Social Security Administration SONET and Wireless Gigabit, and multiple Social Security Administration telephony support contracts valued at over $47 million.
Recognized as an expert in video-teleconferencing, tele-training, and “virtual campus” technology, Mr. Cuneo received the first MIL-STD 1379/D certification for training portability on the MS-Windows Operating System, from International Multimedia Association.
Mr. Cuneo is active in the Industry Advisory Council (IAC). He possesses memberships with a multiple of highly respected organizations including; IAC Telecommunications and Networking Special Interest Group, Independent Telecommunications Pioneer Association, Armed Forces Communications Electronics Association, and the Tau Apha Phi National Honor Society. Mr. Cuneo has served as an Executive Leadership Council attendee since 2001. He has been married for over twenty years and resides in
Jeff Barnhart, Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Barnhart joined Netcom Technologies, Inc., in 2003, as the Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for financial operations, including; Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, Information Technology Systems, and Facilities.
Mr. Barnhart has extensive experience in finance management. Prior to joining Netcom Technologies, Inc., Mr. Barnhart held the positions of Controller, Accounting Manager, and Regional Accounting Manager for the following firms; Concorde Partners, LLC, Warner Construction Consultants, Inc., Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, CB Commercial, and Newslink, Inc.
Throughout his twenty year career, Mr. Barnhart has developed a reputation for playing a major role in the migration of paper-based financial accounting systems to server-based computerized systems. He has an impressive history of improving financial operations within the companies he has served. The notable success he has achieved is the result of his expert ability to generate operational cost savings in the product manufacturer cost of goods, as well as, in the costs of facilities management, and insurance premium management.
Dedicated to strengthening the balance sheet, and Netcom Technologies, Inc.’s overall financial performance, Mr. Barnhart facilitated the company’s transformation from a small business accounting system, into an optimum standards-based software system. During his years of service with Netcom Technologies, Inc., Mr. Barnhart’s expertise in financial management has resulted in a significant overall increase in revenue for this $14 million company.
Mr. Barnhart, an active participant in the community, enjoys the opportunity to use his energies to assist others, by engaging in frequent volunteer work at the Soup Kitchen at the Lord’s Table Church in
Ron Bheer, Director of Operations
Ron Bheer, Director of Operations, has been contributing his knowledge and excellent leadership to Netcom Technologies, Inc. for fifteen years. His primary responsibilities involve directing and overseeing his team of Project Managers.
The structured cable market sector is a field in which Mr. Bheer has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience. He began his profession in 1987 as a Cable Technician. Throughout the years, he has had the benefit of gaining expertise in multiple aspects of the telecommunications industry. Some of these positions include; Lead Technician, Supervisor, Quality Control, and Project Management.
Mr. Bheer’s outstanding performance is evidenced in noteworthy structured cabling assignments such as the $5.3 million project for the Defense Intelligence Agency at Bolling Air Force Base. As the On-Site Project Manager, he displayed his vast knowledge and skills when he led a large team of technicians in a project that consisted of 6 floors with 3,600 workstation cable runs.
Recognized for his success in obtaining impressive bottom-line results, Mr. Bheer also served as On-Site Project Manager for a notable $2.7 million project with
Mr. Bheer’s exceptional track record continues to enhance the quality of performance at Netcom Technologies, Inc. He is both a BICSI Certified Technician, and a BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer. He is active in the Parents and Teachers Association in
Bill Lambros, Senior Account Executive
Bill Lambros has over 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He joined Netcom Technologies, Inc. in 1992 and serves as the Senior Account Executive for this top-tier company. His unyielding dedication to excellent customer service has resulted in not only strengthened relationships with his clients, but also in the formation of strategic alliances with business partners.
Mr. Lambros’s focus to deliver top quality service to each Netcom Technologies, Inc. client is reflected in the notable business relationships he has maintained throughout the years. He is responsible for the long-standing Bureau of Engraving and Printing account, which results in approximately $1 million annually.
His exceptional track record and focus for business improvement is also evidenced in his long-term management of Netcom Technologies, Inc.’s Verizon account. The on-going $8 million Verizon project with the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority consists of both inside and outside broadband video installations.
In addition, Mr. Lambros has responsibility for Ennis Electric, which includes numerous noteworthy projects such as the $3.8 million Department of Interior renovation, and the $1.6 million Department of Agriculture project.
He has achieved numerous certifications in structured cable manufacturing products, and continues to provide leadership and quality account management. Mr. Lambros is a member of the Industry Advisory Council. He and his wife are also active in fundraising endeavors for the St. Georges Greek Orthodox Church in
John B. Murdock, Jr., Vice President, Security Division
John B. Murdock, Jr, Vice President (Security Division) has extensive expertise in the electronic security market sector. His strategic and impressive performance in designing, engineering, and managing superior security solutions have attributed to Murdock gaining national recognition as an expert in his field.
Prior to joining Netcom Technologies, Inc. in 2006, Mr. Murdock held a number of increasingly responsible leadership positions in the telecommunications and security industries. During his 23 years of career experience, he has worked with top-tier security companies, including; Johnson Controls Security Services Inc., Integrated Security Solutions, Inc., Intertech Security LLC., and Siemens (formerly known as Glen Industrial Communications).
Along with being considered an expert in IP Video Surveillance, Mr. Murdock has experienced noteworthy accomplishments. He installed the very first prototype smart card system for AT&T in
Mr. Murdock currently serves as Netcom Technologies, Inc.’s Security Compliance Agent. He possesses certifications in Software House, Lenel, American Dynamics, Milestone, and DVTel, as well as, certifications in several other security products. He is a member of the American Society of Industrial Security, and the Industry Advisory Council.
James D. Sarge, Director of Engineering
James D. Sarge joined Netcom Technologies, Inc. in 2003, as Director of Engineering. In his current position, he is responsible for each intricate engineering detail, including; design, engineering, bill of material, cost estimates, processes and workflows.
Mr. Sarge has spent 21 years in the cable market sector. During this time, he gained experience in an array of senior technical positions. In 1986, he began his career at DynCorp, where he was responsible for the supervision of electronic security system installations worldwide, for the United States Agency for International Development, and the United States Department of State Foreign Offices.
Following that assignment, Mr. Sarge served at Henkels & McCoy, where he was promoted from Senior Project Manger to Area Manager. He has also offered his expertise in senior level positions for Tech, Inc., and Veterans Communications.
The Pentagon renovation project played a significant role in Mr. Sarge’s impressive career experience, as it was a result of his highly skilled performance throughout this project that brought him national recognition. During the Pentagon Above-Ground Telecommunications Backbone Wedge Renovation, as it was officially termed, he was Project Manager of the cable portion of this General Dynamics contract. His responsibilities included managing engineering, design, budget, installation, and production.

Mr. Sarge is a certified BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer, and an active member of the BICSI organization. He has obtained FCC Radio Telephone Engineer certification with radar endorsement, and is also certified in a multiple of structured cable manufacturer products.
